The process for running reports on programmatic deals is similar to running other reports in Ad Manager. To generate a programmatic report, navigate to the Reporting section and select the Reports option.
Let’s take a look at the steps involved for each programmatic report type.
Open Auction
- Set the report type to Ad Exchange Historical.
- Create a filter for Transaction Types, and choose Open auction.
- Choose Transaction Types, under Dimensions.
Private Auctions
- Set the report type to Ad Exchange Historical.
- Create a filter for Transaction types and choose Private auction.
- Choose Transaction types, under Dimensions.
Preferred Deal
- Set the report type to Historical.
- Create a filter for Programmatic order and set it to Is True.
- Create a filter for Programmatic channel and set it to Is Preferred Deals OR create a filter for Line item type and set it to Is Any of Preferred Deal.
Programmatic Guaranteed
- Set the report type to Historical.
- Create a filter for Programmatic order and set it to Is True.
- Create a filter for Programmatic channel and set it to Programmatic Guaranteed. You can also add a filter for Line item type to filter for sponsorship or standard type line items
